I am trying to set preferences in Google but am advised that cookies are disabled. I have done all the things in tools > internet options > security. But there is no reference to cookies under "security", nor under "privacy". I've tried re-setting to 'default' and also reducing the security level slider to 'medium-low'. Nothing works, Google preferences still say that cookies are disabled. Any sugestions? |

What version of Internet Explorer are you using? It sounds like you have an older one so try Tools > Options > Advanced and scroll down to the Cookies settings in there. |

If there is a Privacy Tab then it will be a recent version of IE
Do your Cookies work on other sites such as PressF1 if so then they are enabled. |

I'm using IE 6.0 with Windows ME. Thanks for your suggestions but still nothing and no reference to cookies under the advanced tab. |
