Cheers

162481 2003-07-24 01:31:00 I would use memtest to test the CPU and RAM for about 24hours.

http://www.memtest86.com

A word of warning about memtest it will heat your CPU up and keep it running hot! if your MB has thermal alarm settings in the BIOS make sure you turn them on before starting it, especialy if leaving the computer un-attending.
I have had one CPU metdown so far..

To test hard disk I use a boot floppy that runs a batch file that formats the drive in an endless loop for 24hours.

For video card any of the many 3d bencmark programs will do, most allow you too select the number of times it will loop through the tests.

162482 2003-07-24 01:33:00 Theres a prime number programme at www.mersenne.org thats quite popular. Install it and use the burn-in option. bmason (508)
