| 162537 | 2003-07-24 05:44:00 | I have a problem at the moment where I am unable to view the "Detail". All other options are OK ... Large Icons, Small Icons, List .... but not Detail. By using Detail I get a blank screen where the info of any particular folder contents should be. Have run System File Checker but nothing is reported as corrupted. Have reinstalled Win98SE to see if that would correct it .. no luck here. Have reinstalled IE6 but no luck here either. Have reset folder settings and still no luck. Any ideas of how to correct the problem would be appreciated. |

When you click on details view and you only get the blank page, can you still see the grey title bar where Name, Size, Type etc should be displayed but the words are missing? If you can see this title bar, move your mouse cursor over to the far left edge of the title bar until it turns into the resize cursor. Then drag the bar over to the right. Does this help? Your columns *might* of been set to zero size which is why the page appears blank. But you would of thought a reinstall of the OS would of put the defaults back in?? |
