163088 2003-07-26 20:59:00 I recently registered a domain, www.zygar.co.nz, and I plan to host a couple of game sites, mainly ones for Unreal Tournament, 3D Movie Maker, The Sims, and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. Anyway, right now, the domain is pointing to my OTHER domain, pheasantshill.co.nz, but that is on a small chunk of webspace, since it is just for a family website.
Anyway, what I need is 1.2-2.0GB of space, and 35-50GB of bandwidth a month. Also, I need most of the features that ipowerweb has: www.ipowerweb.com

Could anybody recommend a reliable company, with the above features, that is kinda affordable? Thanks.

Do you know if www.hostme.co.nz servers are NZ based or USA based?
Thanks

163092 2003-07-27 01:41:00 I've got hosting with KiwiHosting (http://www.kiwihosting.net.nz) and find it to be good. The hosting is on overseas servers of course. Witht that amount of bandwidth you really need to be on an overseas server as NZ based servers charge a lot more for bandiwdth.

The other idea is to consider getting your own server which you can control remotely.

163093 2003-07-27 02:17:00 There aren't many places with lots of space, are there? Wilky (776)
163094 2003-07-27 02:18:00 Hi Wilky,
I was with iPowerWeb for a year until about a month ago then i changed to flexihostings.net (www.flexihostings.net).
They have been great so far. Their technical support is quick (reply in less than 24 hours which is great considering the time differences and what not) and my website appears to load slightly faster than with ipowerweb.
You can also get a 3-day free trial account (www.flexihostings.net) to test out the service.

For those requirements you'll be looking at the 'FX Premier' package. It is currently on special for $US147.50 for one year or $US265.50 for two years. Note: You must order through this page (www.flexihostings.net) to get the special price.

* And before anyone asks: No, i do not work for flexihostings I'm just a very satisfied customer :) *

163095 2003-07-27 02:34:00 Remember to email places as they may be able to set up a plan that you like. Most places don't have huge plans like that normally. -=JM=- (16)

Well worth the journey.....

163097 2003-07-28 06:39:00 I think this is an overseas site, but payment and prices are in NZ dollars, i have several accounts with them and find they are fantastic at after sales service, they seem very flexable with their plans and an inquiry will be answered promptly.

With service in mind they probably will be happy to accomodate your needs in disk space.
