| 162991 | 2003-07-26 07:04:00 | Hello guys, Again I have added another PC to my household. Only difference is that this one is branded, i.e. such as HP, Compaq, Packard Bell... This one is a Compaq 4506. Personally, I feel Windows 95 will not allow the machine to justify how good it is. Anyway, Im not used to some of the configurations in Windows 95. My solution is: a) Format hard drive b) Reinstall everything However, unlike our "normal" machines, it the memory count and bios, etc. are not visible. By this I mean, when I start the computer, the screen just starts up with icon "Compaq" then straight into booting of Windows 95. So I'd like to know if I'm able to put floppy disk in and everything as if it was like a "normal" computer. I do have a restore disk, so if I don't like it, or if a problem arises, can I just restore it? Many thanks in advance, |
