162950 2003-07-26 01:56:00 Is it possible to run a Serial ATA HDD & Parallel drive together if the motherboard supports both types of drives?

And if so, is it also possible to run RAID 0 with this combination of drives as well?

I'm currently looking to purchase a new drive & would prefer Serial ATA if possible.

162951 2003-07-26 03:47:00 I wouldn't like to be dogmatic about this, but RAID would probably be limited to one interface standard.

We've discussed serial ATA here ... enter "SATA" to the search on this page for the wisdom of the ages (or aged). :D
