| 163353 | 2003-07-28 00:54:00 | Can anyone tell me where I can obtain a “Macronix Set-up Disk”? I’ve got this bitsa computer that came without any drivers at all. I’ve installed Win98SE but I think the drivers it provides are outdated as the bios date on the Mother Board is the year 2000. I’ve actually found the driver I require on the Office 2000 disk but I keep getting messages that I must insert the “Macronix Set-up Diskette” to continue. Regretfully, I hunted the internet high and low and whilst there a lots of drivers I am unable to locate this particular Diskette. The chip concerned is a MX86250 as far as I can tell. At the moment the best the video can do is 16 colours and 640 x 480 pixels. Cheers Bob |
