The timing is particularly offensive - he is playing games whilst Parata's flunky is falling on her sword when it should be Parata going. It just shows that the doctrine of Ministerial responsibility is dead. This all makes the unlamented K Wilkinson look good, and I never thought I would say that. Key's obnoxious behaviour confirms what I have thought all along - that this Tory cabinet hates education, and Key doesn't take any of the debacle seriously. Just rip, **** and bust, as far as education is concerned - the real important issue for this ship of fools is flogging off state assets to their cronies, the way Lange's government did.
