| 1343939 | 2013-05-29 05:00:00 | With Box.net when you upload a file, there is an option to share it publicly, ie no password required. A URL link to the file is given which you can copy and then send out via emails. I use Box.net for friends, relations to download files via a supplied URL and to post links to files on forum websites. For example a photo of a diamond stylus www.box.com it could just as well be a pdf. Terry - this looks good, and should do what we want. I just fiddled around with Dropbox but that is a NO GO as individual email addresses have to be entered and then each person has to set up a Dropbox account. |

Terry - I have uploaded a few files to Box.com and it seems to be working OK. I will wait to see what our committee members think of it but it looks good. Thanks. Maybe we can use (Chill's) Google Drive for files to be accessed with a password, and Box.com for newsletters. |
