| 1319117 | 2012-12-19 10:58:00 | (in the USA of course) There was a case a number of years ago where this guy chose to sit outside at a restaurant and got stung by a bee. The restaurant owner got sued and had to pay a ridiculous sum which I can't remember now so I can believe each and everyone of those. | mikebartnz (21) | ||

Got $18,300 if I remember correctly and six months later I got a kick in the knee from a cattle beast and got the grand total of $70 for the month and a half I was off work. |

That would be fine if they just used boiled water for coffee, a la espresso or instant. That produces coffee around 60-70C. They didn't. They drip filtered it and held it at a high temperature. Did you read the link I posted? If you did, you would see that Macdonalds were at the time holding their coffee at 180-190F. That works out to 82-87C. At that temperature, 3rd degree burns happen much more rapidly - www.accuratebuilding.com |

The restaurant owner got sued and had to pay a ridiculous sum which I can't remember now so I can believe each and everyone of those. It's not like it takes more than a few seconds to look up. classweb.gmu.edu The man was made a quadriplegic from the accident, and while the lower court found for him, the appeals court overturned it. So the restaurant was *not* liable (though it might have been if there was a swarm of bees demonstrating that they had not taken due care to remove dangerous insects from their shrubbery/grounds). I can understand that when something supports your worldview, that you would be more credulous. We all are. It really does pay to do your research though. |

| 1319123 | 2012-12-19 21:35:00 | Early one morning, late one night, 2 dead boys got up to fight, Back to back, they faced each other, Drew their swords and shot one another, A deaf policeman heard the noise, Came and got those two dead boys, If you don't believe this lie is true, Ask the Blind man, he saw it too! |
