I had a similar spec'd basic motorolla C115 which had some limitation (can't recall) between transfers or display of contacts either from sim or the phone internal storage. kahawai chaser (3545)

I thought that, but I haven't been able to find an option that would allow me to do that yet.

1318930 2012-12-18 22:14:00 Why are you changing phones? And bluetooth is probably the easiest way as The Error Guy said. stratex5 (16685)
1318931 2012-12-18 22:16:00 The Samsung website has a manual, (www.samsung.com) which may help for the simiar spec'd keystone 2 for your phone. kahawai chaser (3545)

Touchscreen on the old one died
To broke to go for another android at the moment, so I'm stuck with a 'dump phone'. :p

Ok, I've read through that, still haven't found anything useful. Got someone to send me a text earlier just to make sure the SIM was registering, and the text came through all right. Still no contacts though, grr.

1318935 2012-12-19 07:50:00 If you have a gogle account, just sync your contacts to your google account and then when you login to your google account on your new phone, just sync your contacts and they will be in your new phone. I did mine last week, used the new phone on wifi without having the sim card in it so you dont need your sim card in if you are connected to your wifi. Iantech (16386)

Not an android ;)

Another interesting update - took my SIM out, chucked it in my dad's phone. Recognised all my contacts first time. Chucked my dad's SIM in my phone - all contacts recognised.
Guess I'll be taking it back tomorrow. Sigh, not really looking forward to battling the warehouse staff again. Any tips on how to deal with staff?
