1344064 2013-05-29 19:42:00 Being unable to delete folders or files can be a real pain, especially ones protected by TrustedInstaller.
I just found a web site that gives clear simple instructions, that work, on how to claim ownership of such files,

1344065 2013-05-29 21:33:00 There is also a program cant remember where I saw it. Where you can do the same thing in the registry (when you have to take ownership of registry keys). It loads the registry and all you have to do is select whatever key and click on take ownership

It saves you right mousing on permissions and doing it the long way. There is also a take ownership program, or a reg script (which is little). Which add itself to the right mouse. So, all you do is click on whatever then select it. It gives you ownership of whatever (like when you connect an external / other hdd). So you can get into it

This has prompted me to backup the registry on my new computer for the first time. A job I should have started with!
