2012-12-18 07:24:00 | I've saved all my contacts to my google account. Now I want to put my sim card into a 'dumb' phone and have my contacts there. Is there anyway to go into my android, and transfer all my contacts to my sim card while still keeping them saved via google? | Nick G (16709) | |
2012-12-18 07:26:00 | If the contacts are in the phone's mem ... cannot you just copy from phone to simcard after putting in the new simcard? Don't have an Android myself yet but all the phones I had does that .... | Nomad (952) | |
2012-12-18 07:32:00 | Yes you can. Put your sim card into your android phone and then using your contacts application you can copy your contacts to your sim. Then pop your sim in your 'dumb' phone and you're away! | pine-o-cleen (2955) | |

Then pop your sim in your 'dumb' phone and you're away! I thought there must be a way to do that, but there isn't a 'export to sim card' option under import/export. Could you point me in the right direction as to what option its under? |

2012-12-18 08:31:00 | Try a copy to sim card app at Google play, e.g. this one. (play.google.com) | kahawai chaser (3545) | |
2012-12-18 08:51:00 | If you imported your contacts - and texts from google, it might mean texts may have been backed up on google somehow, e.g. with sms backup. | kahawai chaser (3545) | |
2012-12-18 09:22:00 | A roundabout way, open people (contacts) --> right click --> import/export --> Export to SD card, then Bluetooth the contact (probably CSV format) to the phone, then import from file on the phone | The Error Guy (14052) | |
2012-12-18 09:25:00 | There might be a display options (under "more" perhaps) on the phone's hard menu button for contacts, which may need to be toggled between sim, phone, and google. | kahawai chaser (3545) | |
2012-12-18 20:19:00 | Ok, my contacts are definitely on my SIM card now. But my new phone show them, and I can't see any way of importing them. www.thewarehouse.co.nz This is my new phone (yea yea, stop laughing at it :p)
