That means it wont work in an XP based system, as there is no underlying DOS to boot to. There may be later versions of SPICE or similar programs, use Google to search for software circuit emulation programs? |

The library of components is not all that big, but if you have access to data sheets you can make up your own library of components. I used to use it for simple things, and it was useful for doing a frequency response analysyis. It can be downloaded here (www.phreak.org). There is a heap of other useful stuff too. In the simtel dos archives there should be some Spice stuff too. Simtel is nowhere as easy to navigate these days since they scrapped the index file system a few years ago, it's even worse now after a very recent"improvement", but still very useful, http://www.simtel.net fotr the website, or: ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/msdos/electrcl/ for direct access to the dos electronic/electrical directory. |

Great for simple circuits, right through to complicated stuff (the skool uses the same program for 3rd formers, to 7th formers) http://www.crocodile-clips.com/ |
