| 164196 | 2003-07-31 11:25:00 | I have no problems with the forum being sponsored either, but it will be a sad day if adverse or negative posts or threads about any of the sponsors start getting edited, locked or deleted in order to retain the sponsor. In other words, if our freedom of speech is curtailed. I am not talking about the "off the rails and unbalanced" posts, but for those I imagine the mods would no doubt step in much earlier than they do now. ;-) "Thinks about what if one of the sponsors was the PC Co.":D |

But one aspect about contributors growling about product X - will product X have right of reply ? Some unreasonable discussions could get dreadfully long if the moderators did not step in quickly. |
