164816 2003-08-03 00:24:00 Are you running this batch file from the command line or by running it by opening it directly?

If you're just double clicking it you can adjust it's properties by rightclicking to close on exit.

164818 2003-08-03 02:55:00 I suspect that the worng end of the stick has been grasped. :D

You are looking for a "batch command" which means "finished". In general, there isn't one. :D You just drop off the end, and this works perfectly in DOS. (If you want to return errorcodes, it's different).

But if you are running this from Windows, and you don't like the black screen hanging around after it has finished. The inverse one, which annoys me, is when I have "run" a DOS command, and the black creen with its results vanishes "automagically". :D

If you are running it from a shortcut, you can just set the option in its "Properties". If its run from a .PIF file, or can be run from a PIF, the same aplpies.
