| 164739 | 2003-08-02 10:53:00 | Hi, I've just reinstalled XP after setting up a new computer. Unfortunately I have some folders from the old installation that I want to access from the previous installation that I can't not get to. Does anyone know how to remove password protection from folders - I've got the same username and password but no luck. Any suggestions? |

This then allows you to take control of folders and files. I think that MS need to have a level in between for controlling security - the simple file sharing gives the user no control at all... N |
