| 164694 | 2003-08-02 08:21:00 | Hi guys, I want to install winxp on my computer, which is a hp 8802. So I got upgrade advisor and ran the test. It said hardware compatability issues: System devices Plug and Play BIOS Extension So wht do I do now?? Do I download some updates for it or something?? If so where?? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Michael Y |

The bios update says Step 1: Do you need to update? Release Date: 2001-10-10 Version: 3.05 Why do I need it? This BIOS update provides the minimum BIOS requirements to run Windows(r) XP on your HP Pavilion computer. Hope this helps Cheers Steve |
