| 164724 | 2003-08-04 12:55:00 | Hi DanielS, How do you set EAC or CDEX to use a avg bitrate at 400-600 kbps. I can pnly see settings for up to 320 kbps > Small enough to pack some 15 songs at CD quality onto > a Blank CD. Are you reffering to an MP3 cd or an Audio cd ?? Audio cds are set by the time lengh, not the file size. PeebZ |

Bring up Windows Explorer and report the size of the file as referenced in the "Program, including path, used for compression" field. Be sure that "Use extenral program for compression" is checked, and that "parameter passing scheme" is set to "LAME MP3 Encoder". I could just fit The Eminem Show onto a blank CD with MP3s. The song with lowest kbs rate was 321, the highest 567, and the rest in between. These are truly crystal clear songs. |
