| 165315 | 2003-08-04 11:01:00 | Hi there, I'm hoping somewhere out there can help me!! Recently after installing something, I've noticed that whenever I go to a website that doesn't exist (such as www.a;alwiejfa.com) or a website that is unavaliable at the time, instead of going to the classic "This page cannot be found" default, Internet Explorer is opening up a page full of ads advertising internet gambling etc. Ive noticed that under View > Toolbars, there is a toolbar there called "hshoufprnep", and im wondering if this could be causing it? I can't seem to find anyway to remove this toolbar. I've tried running Spybot to get rip of any spyware or adware, and I suspect the problem must be some type of adware, but this software isn't picking any up. Ive also tried reinstalling IE, deleting the cookies and temporary internet files but to no avail. Any ideas, anyone?! |
