| 165281 | 2003-08-04 10:25:00 | Having gone through all this before as I updated Win98SE to WinXP Pro. Clean install in my case. WinXP drivers installed for my SoundBlaster Live card. Uninstalled those after downloading the drivers from Creative for WinXP for the SoundBlaster Live card. Installed the new downloaded drivers that you have. Found that I didn't have the same output that I had under Win98SE. It worked OK but not the same experience as it were. Ummmmmm.... Bought new card (AUDIGY) Speakers are J-S SubWoofer and four others Front and rear. Good on games as I can hear things coming up behind. I could before using SB Live under Win98SE. You can experiment with your EAX settings too. |

I have bought around $80,000 of parts over the last 7 years and I am going to pop in this coming Wednesday and pay for ANOTHER $1200 worth. |
