| 165067 | 2003-08-03 10:30:00 | My computer (P3 1GHz) has just returned from surgery and the installation of Win XP, and I have had to reinstall Outlook. My other PC runs Outlook 97 OK on XP but this time I am getting an error message which says: "Unable to open your default mail folders. Outlook could not start because a location to send and receive mail could not be found. To add a location, such as personal folder file, double click the Mail icon in Windows Control Panel." Of course that does not exist in WXP! Where do I go now? This is my access computer (dial-up) for the internet. I have a peer-to-peer wireless network with my other PC at present. All advice much appreciated! Thanks. |
