| 165265 | 2003-08-04 08:46:00 | Trying to setup a Realtek network card on a revamped computer.(i changed hard drives)It went in the computer before, but now when you use the right driver for it ,it creates havoc with the windows system on the comp, such as rebooting several times before starting in safe mode and for some reason it deletes some window system files. As soon as you remove Realtek in the device manager the system runs good. It did run good for a brief time,i had the two systems linked and working The main computer shows that the 2 systems are linked, and the light in the card of the 2nd system lights up The main comps OS is XP and the one i am having trouble with is Win 98se |
