| 165460 | 2003-08-05 11:42:00 | yes i get it........................... just did not proof read it enough before posting, but i realise that im no longer a noob, and on my way to geek (years away) status, - lowly geek levels im thinking compared to some round here :D and hijacking of threads is not a problem to must non newbie people because they have learnt to go with the flow and learn along the way... and if your question gets answered then we all have learnt something. thanxs beetle |

| 165462 | 2003-08-05 11:57:00 | but im not a noobie so it doesnt worry me any more... :p any reply on a thread is better than no reply's at times, (as long as is polite i presume) and i think a noobie can get stressed when the question they post is lost in the process of other posters, but this is a common happening round here and im ok with it as usually in the end you get the information you want as long as you are willing to wait... dont you think? and im not afraid of it, the hijacking, its actually pleasant this time so its ok. beetle |

| 165463 | 2003-08-06 01:08:00 | A Newbie is someone who has less than a thousand posts on Press F1 and helps people with their problems, instead of coming here with their problems. I am a supreme newbie and will be for ever thanks to the low intelligence I was born with LOL. tedheath |

| 165464 | 2003-08-06 10:55:00 | When does a newbie not be a newbie anymore? - When they don't post on a forum about every single little problem they have. They explore and experiment the settings to find their own solution. Ie a new folder icon on the desktop. Beetle has probably learned from that so I'm inclined to say 'not newbie anymore' :) |
