| 165882 | 2003-08-06 11:25:00 | Hi there, I have configured my computer to go into 'hibernation' mode when shutting down at the end of a session. Restarts fine and allows me to continue working where I left off, however when I use any sound applications they only play out of one channel of my soundcard. This doesn't happen if I shutdown normally. I am running Windows 2000 and have a Soundblaster soundcard. Any suggestions as to how to get a stereo signal when using 'Hibernation' mode would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Many software packages have given odd (but repeatable) problems, such as missing cursors after hibernation. I gave up using it after having issues on 3 separate and different PCs, over the last few years On this new laptop, it will fail to restart the wireless network adaptor in 1 out of 10 wake-ups. |
