and i was wondering if i could, in ANY way, hook up a laptop monitor to my PC
i don't even mind buying/making an adapter
any ideas? or are you just shaking your head at my stupidity

166188 2003-08-08 06:17:00 There is no method of interfacing a laptop "monitor" because the "screen" on a laptop connects digitally to the graphics adaptor.

Its not a "monitor" in any sense that you can interface with, in any practical manner.

166189 2003-08-09 03:04:00 But you could use a laptop as an X-monitor to a *nix system, or as a client to s Windows Terminal Server. I think you can get an X-server for Windows, but whether it works on the later versions I don't know. Graham L (2)
