| 166151 | 2003-08-08 04:18:00 | Please, need to know how long it takes to load the following web pages (without ad blockers, although performance with ad blockers could be interesting): www.pressf1.co.nz trademe.co.nz nzoom.com I have tested with Vodafone and Telecom cellular links, plus my daggy ADSL, would like to see comparison with regular dial up (for a column, so really work related, too). robo. |

Connected at home (my connection status says 48.0k through Clear.Net dialup). 66s for PressF1 with no ads (I can't be bothered turning off the ad-blocker AND changing the HOSTS file (which appears to block more ads than the ad-blocker does). However if I don't clear my cache first it loads in 22s (with up to date content). 54s for NZoom.Com (tooks AGES to get all the large images, the rest of the site was there quite quickly) 24s for Trademe.
