166276 2003-08-09 02:18:00 I have occassion to send out a message to about 200 addresses of members on behalf of the Assocaition that I belong to.

I have grouped the names under one group nmae and use this .

I inevitably receive rejected mail back but when I search my address book for thses addresses they are not there so can someone please explain why my message goes to addresses that are not in my address book

They must be some where but where ?

Any help would be gratefully received.

166277 2003-08-09 02:32:00 It is possible that some of them are an alias address and have been redirected to the proper address (or vice versa), which is no longer valid .

The other possibility is that you may have more than one user account in your email client and the addresses are in that?

What is your email client? Outlook or Outlook Express? Try doing a search for the rejected addresses and see if they turn up .
