| 166731 | 2003-08-11 05:39:00 | I have a Powerbook G4 with both OS10.2 and OS 9.2.2 I'm trying to use an 80gb External Firewire Hard Disk. The Drive is formatted as Mac OS Extended. When I use the external drive in OSX it works fine, but it will not mount under 9.2.2 if I unplug the device from the mac when 9.2.2 is running it displays the standard Firewire device unplugged message!!! I've run Software update to bring the system up to the latest and greatest and checked Extensions Manager (all switched on) If I Plug this drive into any of our other Macs all G4 desktops running only OS 9.2.1 it works fine. Any ideas. |

Extn drive works fine in OSX plugged into the same port . Thanks Mike |

Are there any other Firewire extensions of a different version that are currently disabled which you could try. |
