| 166787 | 2003-08-11 08:48:00 | I have formatted both my partitions on my hard drive, setup the install for 98se and when the install gets to about 4 or 5 % it says I interrupted the install and cant find some file. My disc is in perfect cond and I have linux (redhat 9) on another HDD (secondary IDE channel) How can I get over this problem? |

| 166788 | 2003-08-11 20:31:00 | I had something similiar when trying to put 98se on a computer ,it kept coming up with files missing etc.Thought I had a a faulty cd but turned out my cd drive wasn't reading properly .Popped in another cd rom and it installed perfectly. | campbell (4396) | ||
| 166789 | 2003-08-11 22:00:00 | If you have the room, copy the WIN98 directory off the CD onto your hard drive. Then go to the hard drive directory and type in SETUP This will load system from hard drive instead of CD and so eliminate it as the problem. | Pheonix (280) | ||
