167085 2003-08-12 06:40:00 I just deleted a trojan horse virus with a Trojan Horse Remover I got off the net.

What it did was it deleted system32.exe and fixed up some other files.

Now I don't have this system32.exe file.

Does it matter if I have it or not, what effect would it have on my computer, because I kinda know it's a important file to run Windows.

Thanks for any help or advise.

167086 2003-08-12 06:58:00 I seem to recall Godfather replying to this in another thread. That file IS NOT a windows file. You have a system32 FOLDER not a system32 file! Pheonix (280)
