| 166919 | 2003-08-12 00:04:00 | As far as I know there is no Asian - English translation due to the complexities of the Asian language (as in the diversity of the language, number of characters and variable ways of expression) For example there are 1,945 kanji characters for general use in the Japanese language (while comprehensive dictionaries can list up to 50,000 characters) and Chinese is similar. It would be an interesting set of algorithms that could accurately translate such a diverse language. |
