| 166883 | 2003-08-11 17:11:00 | The Pro packs just bundle in a few more programmes, most useful in the pro is Ghost, a program developed in NZ by the way, it lets you back up hard drives over a network or to other disks. If you're running XP some of the programmes aren't available either, I've used Norton for years (since DOS) and am pretty disappointed with their latest offering. No difference at all on the AV as far as I know between the Pro and regular versions. Have a look at Symantecs website for more details on the differences between their products. Can recommend Norton Internet Security 2003 though, it includes Norton AV and good firewall facilities, far more than I've had to use. Best thing I like is the ability to block adds and popups, I just don't get popups any more. cheers |
