| 1345218 | 2013-06-09 12:15:00 | Stupid thread title but couldn't think of the best way to word it... My friend's Acer laptop's drive has died. I want to suggest she gets an external drive to replace it, but... the lappie came with Win7 pre-installed and she only has the recovery disk/s. I kinda doubt it'll install the o/s on a new drive, or will it? The thing is we don't want to have to buy a new o/s when she has a paid-for oem licence already. What should we do? |
