| 1319863 | 2012-12-23 09:10:00 | Well, it's that time of year. Presents, family and spare to to rip your laptop apart to clean the fan. Surprisingly the fan was relatively clean, mild dust build up but no fluff thanks to HP's re design meaning that air is ducted through the keyboard so no carpet fluff, also means dust has to go through the keys and across the body before clogging fans... very good other than it's a right **** to get to :rolleyes: Anyway, consider this my Christmas card to y'all, stay safe these holidays and enjoy the time with family and friends. If you happen to get socks from Aunty carol for Christmas I feel for you, if they were from me you'd better like the bloody things ;) Take some time out to enjoy the rain because weather doesn't care for days off and dismantle your tech toys ready for the new years. If anyone happens to get an SSD for xmas they don't want please toss it my way :) lh4.googleusercontent.com I'll give this thermal paste a while to settle in but it seems to be making an improvement allready, it's a bit of a no name brand (I think? I never heard of it before) but it's all I had, the stock stuff looked like it had dried out a bit. Hmm, had a look here, www.overclock.net the Titan nano grase scored pretty good! I guess I'll leave it on there! Sorry about the average typography, I wasn't feeling proper about it today :p the font didnt have an ! mark so I just tooled in an upside down i :rolleyes: Damn, now that I look at it, the whole things a mess, had my 50mm prime on and was backed up against the wall taking the shot, focal plane isn't actually in a useful spot either. Yikes! Oh well, have a safe and prosperous christmas |
