1320183 2012-12-26 19:41:00 Where I work Boxing day was not a sale day, they went down a different route. You got a $50 voucher for every $250 spent up to a voucher value of $400, vouchers are valid for one month and not redeemable on the day of issue (Boxing day) gary67 (56)
1320184 2012-12-26 20:22:00 Can't be bothered with the sales myself, not worth the hassle of getting there, finding a park, fighting through crowds of people all wanting to buy the same few specials, queing forever to get to the counter, all in the name af "saving" a few dollars.
Here's a newsflash for some people (none here I'm sure), If you buy something you wouldn't have because it's cheap then you haven't saved money you've spent it.

Yeah the OP wasn't the best english and I reread it before I fully got it, but it was possible to glean the meaning so no biggie. The only actual mistake was mispelling "their" surely that doesn't make it a foreign language. I'd have taken out one of the "today"s as well, redundant word is redundant.

1320185 2012-12-26 21:42:00 Yeah, I have bought:
soap
Ute net
Phone battery

All online yesterday.
(Soap is a particular sort, hence the online purchase)
Because we needed them, not cause of any sales...

1320186 2012-12-26 21:58:00 Was going to go for a Nexus 7, because there was a good sale on it ($100 off at Dick Smith). Sadly they were sold out :(
So won't be getting anything in the sales.

I wouldn't sweat it Nick, I think they were a loss leader anyway.

I'm certain they were as well, so I was at the mall at 9 to be there when it opened. Sadly I still wasn't one of the lucky ones.

1320191 2012-12-27 03:41:00 I tried to get a copy of Far Cry 3 (PC) over the last couple days. JB, EB, Noel Leeming (doesn't even stock PC games anymore) and Harvey Norman were all sold out. Dick Smith had it (which I thought was a good thing seeing as I had a $20 voucher. Not at $80 it isn't, especially considering that I've seen it online for $41 (that sold out as well). icow (15313)
