1344544 2013-06-02 12:53:00 Yup, try changing the video cable youre using? Maybe thats causing the video prob? Altho that pic looks similar (but not as bad) as one I saw using teamviewer. It was really bad. Lines all over the screen. Told them to replace the videocard, they did prob solved Speedy Gonzales (78)

1344550 2013-06-02 13:21:00 Lol.Now I need to buy a PSU and a graphics card.
My 7600GS fits perfectly so what would be a good substitute?

1344551 2013-06-02 20:47:00 Anything will do in that case. I was going to buy another videocard (fanless), for this. Was going to cost around 79 (the cheapest). Dont really care about gaming either. Thats what the Xbox is for.

The fan on this, is nearly screwed. Some mornings it makes a racket for 2-3 mins then stops. I think the bearings or something in it are knackered

1344552 2013-06-02 22:23:00 All up in running this morning, just some small issues like windows update and MSE not working. (windows update now working)
I really should try another RGB cable first before I buy another card, yes?

Thanks again Speedy for your time. Now owe you 2 boxes of beer.

1344553 2013-06-02 22:54:00 Ok so I tried the RGB cable with an DVI adapter and plugged it into back of video card and it works.
This tells me that the RGB cable is ok and it's the on-board video that's stuffed.
Am I right so far?
