| 1319624 | 2012-12-22 10:38:00 | Just watched a interesting program on BBC knowledge ( don't know if its on freeview) Learnt something new, the Movie JAWS was actually highly based on real events, a small holiday town in the US, in 1916 -- When they ran through it from the beginning of the first shark attack to the final capture, apart from a bit of extra Hollywood add ins, its actually close to what happened at the time, right down to the lone swimmer getting attacked at the beginning. |

NO!! All the extra stations on freeview are all braindead, with one exception I was thinking of getting "coast" on DVD and then I would never have to tune into 'choice' again, |

| 1319629 | 2012-12-22 19:26:00 | But did they tell you that you are about twice as likely to be killed by a vending machine than a shark? Yep they went into all that, in fact more people get killed by bee stings than shark attacks. It was just interesting that it was based on a real life happening, never knew that. BBC knowledge sometimes has some good programs. Only thing I dont like about freeview, sometimes not exactly a lot of choice of what to watch. |

| 1319630 | 2012-12-22 21:45:00 | Yeah, sigh. Thank goodness for recorded media at home. I can pig out to Red Dwarf, Family Guy or Southpark rather than face the predicable Xmas drek they offer us. Good news for Red Dwarf Fans, there's a new seriex, Series X screening inthe UK, which is getting good reviews. Those that get UKTV (not me) can start enjoying it now. I'm off the booze, so I can't even spend Xmas comfortably numb. Booze used to be a good defence against the Xmas programming! |

C'mon...perhaps you are braindead if you have that opinion. There are some excellent docos on Choice, but then, one has to have a modicum of intelligence to realise that. You are :illogical in your statements. Ken |
