| 167448 | 2003-08-13 08:44:00 | I am running Windows 2000. Everything else seems fine, but OE6 takes 45 sec to 1 min to open everytime. Otherwise it works OK. I checked all the other info on this site on this topic, but no answers to be found there. Any ideas? Rob |

| 167454 | 2003-08-21 22:51:00 | Someone posted on here not long ago that if you put /prefetch:1 in the Target line in the OE shortcut it speeds up the opening of OE. Therefore the Target line should look something like this: "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /prefetch:1 My OE never took very long to open but with this "fix" it opens almost instantly now. Running Win XP with SP1. |
