To protect yourself from infection by the Blaster (W32.Blaster.Worm) worm, install the Microsoft Security Update available at www.microsoft.com It is also strongly advised that you block TCP ports 135, 139, 445, 593, and 4444, and UDP ports 69, 135, 137, and 138, using a firewall. Speak of the devil, some random computer just tried connecting to 'Generic Host Process for Win32 Services' on my computer to port 135... darned worm, and I'm sure I told Kerio to drop the connections, not ask me... |
