167766 2003-08-14 09:32:00 Hi one and all.
In the present frenzy re the dreaded "worm" , how do you tell and where do you find, what revision/service pack your operating system is at.
In Control Panel, System, General tab, I can see I have XPPro Version 2002 but not the revision/service pack .

Any ideas please

167767 2003-08-14 10:05:00 Version 2002 simply means you have Windows XP (clean install) without any service packs.

If it had a service pack you would know it because it would say "Service Pack 1".

For the list of any security updates you've installed you can check them in the add/remove programs

Or on the windows update site under "other options" >" Installation History"

I have looked in add/remove programs and can see Win XPPRO SP1 and
XPP Hot Fix but this is not reflected in the Control Panel , Ststem, General Tab.
I am assuming that these have been installed and running , but will check with the MS site to confirm.

Thanks for the replies
