167727 2003-08-20 11:41:00 Mailwasher NOW is not totally free. But OLDER versions were. The latest version from www.mailwasher.net allows free checking of one pop3 account and no Hotmail at all.

I uploaded one of the older versions to some Orcon web space a while back, and forgot about it till tonight. It's still there. Looks like many people have downloaded it according to the stats. The URL is

www.mailwash.vze.com

Was I actually quoting sandymeads? It might pay you to read a bit more carefully.

167730 2003-08-20 12:54:00 Dotcommander - what we are saying is that if you go to the Mailwasher web site, the file you get is (and I quote)....

MailWasher Free

Mailwasher free (2.0.40) has just been released. Contains several small bug fixes, but is limited to one e-mail account and does not include Hotmail support.

However, the earlier versions did include more than one pop3 and Hotmail. And, yes, the .exe's are out there for these, one is located in the link I put on my earlier post.

You obviously use a version, like many of us, that included the extras. Good on ya, we are not disputing that! We do like to share things here though, and mention the differences for those who may not know :)
