| 168326 | 2003-08-18 01:47:00 | I am trying to plot taranki's accomodation using excel It should be like this 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 184000 18500 186000 187000 188000 However when I try to plot it. IT wouldn't display the years.The graph in the horizontal axis says Series which is wrong and the number of visitors would be in the vertical axis which is right What have i done wrong? |

| 168327 | 2003-08-18 02:12:00 | Tell it which series is the X Axis. As both are just numbers, Excel cant read your mind as to which is an axis range and which are data. Right click in the Plot Area of the graph. Select Source Data Click in the little box to the right of the window "Category (X) Axis Labels" Specify the range of the data cells that are the X Axis lables, (or select them after clicking in the little box at the right of the range window) Delete the series legend |

| 168328 | 2003-08-18 02:12:00 | If you used the Chart Wizard, it takes both lots of information as data, and plots it accordingly. Right click on your chart, select Source Data then the Series Tab. Remove Series1 then click on the Category (X) Axis Labels requester, select the years 1998 to 2002 and close the requester. The years will now be displayed as reqired. HTH |
