168184 2003-08-16 07:08:00 OK, I went to a friends house on Thursday, and I have just gotten back, to find that the computer has forgotten EVERY SINGLE PASSWORD. Including internet form passwords, email passwords, and the internet connection password. Now, since I remember all my passwords, this wouldn't be a problem. But what could have caused it? I am not the only one in the house who has access to the computer, so one of my siblings could have screwed it by accident.
BUT...... here is the BIG problem.
"Save Password" and "Connect Automatically" are greyed out in the internet connection dialog! What could be causing this? Could somebody PLEASE help me here?
Thanks.

If you are not logging in as the same person (perhaps the default login has suffered a corruption for instance) and a new login is occurring, then thats exactly what you would see. Your password cache would not be available.
