| 168141 | 2003-08-16 05:09:00 | Hi Help.I recently formatted my computer and install windows 98 se back on.Now my internal modem won't detect.It was fine until i formatted my hardrive. How do I get the modem to detect again? I tried add new hardware and add modem but still it won't detect Anyone out there that could help me please? |

| 168144 | 2003-08-16 09:32:00 | You could open the case and take the modem out. There will be numbers on it you can use to search the net for drivers. Have you looked in device manager for anything with a yellow question mark beside it. Perhaps a ( simple communication controller ) If you have one there then it's your modem not being detected properly and there will be no drivers loaded. |
