168312 2003-08-18 03:59:00 It was a damn site more than 'last night', we have been unable to connect to PF1 or any IDG sites for around 24 hours, but no big deal, it occurs often enough to become ho hum. :-)

Still it's free, so the expectation of continuious, reliable service is reflective of the low budget. It's similar to "If you pay peanuts - you get monkeys" :-) :-)

168314 2003-08-19 03:06:00 PressF1 is the slowest, most non-responsive, always falling apart forum I know.

You know you can download forums better than this one for free, and then upload them onto your own webpage in less than an hour. They at least work and have miles more functions than this.

You know we are all very lucky! To have this computer help desk forum! & We are lucky (as far as I know) that Press F1 has not (since I have been here...) had a DoS attack or other bad thing happen to it... part from it keeps falling apart!.

The forum I was on early this year, had (I think had two DoS attacks or something else bad happen to it... & at the end of it time it was *all most about* to fall apart)

so we are lucky :)

And the market doesn't work.
