| 168762 | 2003-08-19 20:59:00 | Hi Press F1 I often get customers who have bought PCs and are unaware that their OfficeXP media is important in case of a disaster. They then lose it as staff change in the office. If they do not have an open license contract with Microsoft, does anyone know if there is a way to get new media from Microsoft if they still have the original invoice? I am guessing that they may have needed to record the License agrrement keys that appear when it is first registered. I will be contacting Microsoft to pursue this further. Has anyone experienced this problem? I am wondering if it is possible to claim the loss back from insurance? regards Marty |
