| 168512 | 2003-08-18 23:43:00 | My printer deskjet 656c won't install.IT used to install but ever since I've formatted my hardrive windows 98se will detect the hardrive but when I run the setup program for my printer it says it can't detect my printer in the middle of the installation.IT used to install. THe printer software would open.Then it would lead me if my printer is usb,lpt1 or com port.After choosing usb THe printer program says that it cannot locate my printer and make sure it is plugged in.Windows detected my printer but the setup program won't help Whats wrong? |

Sounds like the motherboard drivers for I/O (LPT, USB etc) may not be installed following the reformat? |
