| 169109 | 2003-08-21 02:53:00 | hi there, I am trying to upgrade a 20g to 40g hdd on a dell celeron 433 notebook. I pulled out the old hdd, and put on a desktop. then I used ghost2003 to mirror the old to the new. unfortunately the new 40gig wont boot up on the laptop. yes, the laptop can detect the new one as 40gig. it boots on my desktop machine. so I can't blame ghost. the OS is w2k pro. I am wondering if dell got something special in the bizzare pheonix bios. any input welcome. Cheers |
