169061 2003-08-23 02:32:00 ok, I did a test run using an image of my mdk9.1 disk 1.

I ripped the image using dd since the disk had no errors.

dd if=/dev/cdrom of=mdk91-1.iso


And used the kernel.org mandrake mirror for rsync:


downloads$ rsync --progress rsync://mirrors.kernel.org/mirrors/mandrake/iso/Mandrake91-cd1-inst.i586.iso mdk91-1.iso

You will need to make sure the destination file matches the image you made. Otherwise it will start downloading the entire file.
